Well this is great..I live right across the road from Grazianos and they are the BEST. Just had some the other day .. AND Sean brought some of his recipe to a gathering i was at. How many ways can you say YUMMMM?! Going to give your recipe a shot ,sound s good and easy so we'll give it a go. Always ready to try something new.. I know it will be GOOOD. I find the sauce pretty balanced and not really sweet at all. It can actually be a little spicy depending on how heavy handed I am with the Chipotle Tabasco, chili powder and Worcestershire. Real maple syrup (shop rite brand). I made this batch because Mom wants ribs for Mother's Day and I didn't have enough sauce.

My sauce for ribs comes from a copycat recipe I found for a chain restaurant called Roadhouse. It has Jim Bean in it and it's fairly sweet. Very good on ribs, but I don't particularly like it just for bbq chicken.

How sweet does this recipe turn out to be? And, do you use real maple syrup or Aunt Jemimah?

We haven't done ribs yet this season, but now I'm thinking about it.

You are correct. The marbles dp keep the spigot form clogging, and you can get them anywhere. The website I go the jar from also sells the marbles, but they are waY overpriced.

Thanks for posting this...it doesn't look too difficult for me to try. I suppose those round rocks in the bottom of jar are so the strawberries don't get caught in spigot, are they the regular ones you can pick up at any dollar store?

I too like to add proscuitto to my long hots along with extra sharp provolone and asiago cheeses. It is by far my husband's favorite snack with a thin slice of Italian bread.

Looks great!!! I like to throw in a little prosiutto to make it a meal. Also didn't know that the ribs provide the heat, not the seeds...that explains the fire inside my mouth the last time I made them!!!
